Pilates

The Pilates Method focuses on the postural muscles—those muscles that help keep the body balanced and are essential for supporting the spine. The training program aims to develop awareness of breathing and spinal alignment, strengthening the deep core muscles, which are important for helping to relieve and prevent back pain. Pilates works not only on the abdominal muscles but also on the deeper muscle groups located near the spine and around the pelvis. The key point of the method is toning and strengthening all the muscles connected to the trunk: the abdominals, glutes, adductors, and lumbar area, combined with correct breathing.
